At least 11 consumer groups expressed concern on Monday about the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India’s (TRAI) proposed regulation to selectively ban OTT apps in the event of a law and order situation, saying the proposal would lead to overregulation and create regulatory uncertainty in the domestic market.
