To safeguard the “uniqueness” of their creative contributions and “identity”, A-list actors in the Indian film industry are insisting on incorporating a clause in their contracts which bars producers from exploiting their voices, body scans, performances and likeness beyond the work for which they are hired, according to legal firms which have been involved in the drafting of the contracts.
