From being an importer of electronic products including mobile phones 10 years ago, the telecom industry has seen an exponential growth over the decade as 98% of all phones used by people in the country are now made in India, said Ashwini Vaishnaw, Union minister for railways, communications, and information and technology, said on Saturday.
