Rejecting the idea of a social media ban for children and age-based restrictions, the recent SC order stated that children too have “access and use the internet is a fundamental right of every individual under Article 21 read with Article 19(1)(a)” and also affirmed that, irrespective of their age, to deny access to the internet by saying that they lack conscience is “absurd.”
