The founder and director of the Film Heritage Foundation discussed with Secretary, I&B, Mr. Sanjay Jaju, the journey undertaken to restore the classic film by Shyam Benegal. Additionally, Dr. Jayen Mehta and Ms. Nirmala Kurien spoke about the role Amul played in bringing Manthan back to the big screen and also how the cooperative society was deeply involved in the production of the film in a way unprecedented in the history of Indian cinema.
