Tonight, the Vietnam Film Development Association, the Embassy of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, and the Motion Picture Association co-hosted a special screening and reception for Don’t Cry, Butterfly at the MPA’s global headquarters in Washington, DC.

 

The program opened with welcome remarks from Charles Rivkin, Chairman and CEO of the Motion Picture Association; H.E. Nguyen Quoc Dzung, Ambassador of Vietnam; and Dr. Lan, President of the Vietnam Film Development Association.

Following the screening, guests participated in a thoughtful Q&A with Director Linh, moderated by Melissa Bisagni. The evening celebrated Vietnamese storytelling and the growing global reach of Southeast Asian cinema.
