WASHINGTON — Gov. Matt Meyer today signed into law the Delaware Entertainment Production Tax Credit Act, the state’s new film and television production incentive program. The following is a statement from Motion Picture Association Chairman and CEO Charles Rivkin:

“Today, Delaware rejoins the ranks of American states that benefit directly from film and television production incentives. When movies and series come to life, that translates into good-paying jobs for local workers and steady economic growth for local families and businesses. By reviving this program, Governor Meyer and state legislators are making a smart investment in the power and potential of the creative economy – and inviting America’s storytellers to set their scenes in Delaware’s communities.”
