Australia has finally pulled the trigger on long-mooted streaming quotas, confirming a landmark bill that will compel streaming platforms including Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video, Apple TV+ and Stan to invest a fixed share of their Australian revenue or expenditure into homegrown programming.
