The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting (MIB) has notified over-the-top (OTT) platforms to adhere to the Code of Ethics prescribed under the IT Rules, 2021, and ensure self-regulation through industry bodies, according to an advisory, issued on February 19, 2025.
